What is the difference between CoPs and Communities of Interest?

Communities of interest are people who share the same interest or passion. (e.g. a group of people who like reading novels but they may all have differet jobs and are not authors or any novels)

Communities of practice as also people who share the same interest or passion but they also are people in the same profession or undertake the same activities (e.g. a group of teachers who all teach second-level science)
